Pathfinder is the only comprehensive development counseling program in Vietnam designed for students spanning from grade 6 to grade 12. The program’s goal is to help students prepare early for an active and cohesive experiential journey, encompassing the development of personal branding, career pathways, personal portfolios through extracurricular activities, post-high school study goals, and goals for applying for scholarships and studying abroad.
Pathfinder consists of three stages: Junior for students in grades 6 and 7, Senior for students in grades 8 and 9, and Senior Plus for students from grade 9 to grade 12.

PF Junior

At this stage, students grapple with forming new study habits, defining academic goals, navigating changing learning environments, peer interactions, and the complexities of adolescence, often feeling uncertain about identity and motivation. Parents encounter similar challenges in providing support to their children as they navigate adolescence.

The PathFinder Junior Program offers both parents and students comprehensive guidance on personal development and academic objectives. This includes identifying strengths and weaknesses, nurturing essential skills, and participating in enriching extracurricular activities.

By program’s end, students will demonstrate flexibility, confidence, responsibility, and a passion for learning, alongside proficiency in critical thinking, creativity, self-awareness, and effective learning strategies. They’ll excel in diverse activities like debate, arts, music, and sports, while also grasping environmental, global, career, gender, diversity, and equality issues.

PF Senior

Students in grades 8-9 may still struggle with developing effective study habits for Secondary Education and encounter challenges related to changes in learning environments, peer dynamics, and the psychological transitions of adolescence. They often express a desire for self-expression but may feel uncertain about their personality traits and motivations.

Parents also face challenges understanding the educational path from Secondary School to University and selecting suitable environments and systems for their child.

The Senior Program provides personalized guidance for parents and students, focusing on student abilities and aspirations. They develop skills in Personal Branding and fundamentals, gaining confidence through experiences, and receive early career guidance. Expected competencies include attitudes of open-mindedness, confidence, responsibility, and adaptability, along with critical thinking, effective communication, and activity participation. Additionally, they gain knowledge in digital literacy, sustainability, global issues, human relationships, career planning, lifelong learning, gender, diversity, and equality.

PF Senior Plus

Many high school students are unclear about their abilities and motivation, lack essential skills, career guidance, and goal-setting support. Their parents may not fully understand the educational journey from high school to college and feel uncertain about the best options for their children.

With this Senior Plus Program, students undergo counseling for decisions during and after high school, receive training in soft skills, and create a pathway for personal branding. They are encouraged to boost confidence through personal and team experiences, while also benefiting from career guidance, gaining insight into their characteristics, and early exposure to professions.

Pathfinder Senior Plus students preparing for university are expected to possess a range of competencies including open-mindedness, confidence, responsibility, passion for learning, adaptability, community engagement, social awareness, and resilience. They are also equipped with skills in critical thinking, creativity, self-awareness, effective communication, and active participation in diverse activities. Furthermore, they acquire knowledge in digital literacy, sustainability, global issues, human relationships, career guidance, lifelong learning, gender equality, and diversity.
